The hardest challenge is to be yourself in a world where everyone is trying to make you be somebody else.
– E. E. Cummings
Hi, I'm Marina and Mirumir is the name of my company. I am a former big-city obsessive over-achiever with a Master's in graphic design, turned a hippie and a clown. Now I help healers and creative weirdoes like myself become proud owners of websites that they love.

When I left my life and career in Moscow, Russia, I was burnt out from the rat race and shuddered at the idea of creating designs for companies that used unethical practices and sold products or services that I could not vouch for. So I went looking for places where people looked each other in the eyes and ways of life that were ecologically sustainable, based on cooperation, and supportive of healthy human development. While traveling I made friends with a lot of healers, creators and activists, and started helping them with their logos and websites. A big part of my work initially consisted of working on already-existing websites – making tangled structures user-friendly and changing generic template designs to fit the owner's vision. Those early experiences taught me a lot about the challenges first-time website owners face and led me create website design packages that offer: - Transparent upfront prices - A workflow that provides plenty of space for your creative input - Intuitive devising sessions which help to portray the genuine you through your website - Training sessions and manuals that ensure your website is easy to manage, even for someone with zero website-building experience
